How to Enable HDR on your Sony 4K TV

In this tutorial we go over how to enable HDR on you Sony 4K HDR TV.

The enhanced setting has to be enabled on the HDMI which you HDR device is connected to.

bro you saved me such a head ache... i thought maybe my HDMI cable i spend almost 400$ was bad or maybe my bluray player. I was swtiching the HDR mode under Display and not under the Watching list. And when i would switch it from display i got super dark image and awful red tones !! but the way you explained it, works PERFECT!! thank you !! Def Subbing

I fought with my Sony A8G and Apple TV 4K for literally 2 days trying to get Dolby Vision to work. Changed HDMI cables, factory data reset the TV, sound bar and Apple TV 4K. Nothing worked until I found and watched your video. Sony put this in the absolute worst place in my opinion - this should have been in Picture Settings IMO. I'll take that up with Sony ;) thank you for posting this video how-to!!!

I called Sony about this issue. They told me my Sony tv is not compatible with Dolby vision. I am glad I came across your channel. Thank you. You solved my problem. Even Apple support told me my Sony tv is not compatible with Dolby vision. I also called Costco were I bought the tv and they also told me my tv does not support Dolby vision. I have a Sony xbr-90ch. The box states Dolby vision. They are all idiots. Your the man. Thank you very much. You solved my issue. I will be calling Sony support tomorrow and I am going to give them hell.
