Good samaritan saves state trooper's life

A motorist in Arizona rushes to save the life of a state trooper who was shot and being beaten. CNN's Stephanie Elam reports.

I am a retired law enforcement officer, I am so happy that Thomas was able to be there to save a brother of mine. That was simply amazing and God sent Thomas to save the life of that Trooper!!!

If you can carry in your state. Do it. And when you see an officer in need, take a second to consider helping. If the roles were reversed, that officer wouldn't take that second to think. He would just step up and do what was right.
