Treasure in Tough Places! - Metal Detecting Every Nook & Cranny of this 1760's Property!

This week we're metal detecting an old 1760's home that site across the street from another old home we did earlier this year. We did so well at the neighbor's house we knew this one would also be a winner. It also sits across the street from an old Inn that George Washington planned the battle of Trenton at, so the area was incredibly historic. The only issue was that the yard was on the smaller side and most of the yard that was detectable has an enormous low-hanging tree that we'd have to content with all day. But I pulled up my big boy pants and dove in, or under rather, and man did it pay off! It's ironic has the best things are often hiding in the hardest to reach places!

Also this Thursday make sure you tune in to an all new Quarter After LIVE show with special guest Brandon from Adventure Archaeology. We'll be talking about metal detecting, bottle digging, underwater treasure hunting, and all the time hanging out with everyone in the live chat. Hope you all can make it, this Thursday night starting 7:15pm EST, or as I like to call it Quarter After!

I always worry about road noise too Jason but when you watch the video it doesn’t seem to ever drown out the commentary.

George VI (born Albert "Bertie") was indeed Queen Elizabeth's father (and, therefore Charles' grandfather).

The Shaman Nixum granted you his silvers and his digging prowess.

If Doug gets one more Scoop Badge he's going to win a Pulitzer.

The class ring- the HF-ES means “Herff Jones” (the brand / manufacturer) and the ES means “extreme silver alloy” which is what the ring is made of.
I hope you find the owner… with the initials in it, I’m sure you will find him.

The first brass pocketbook clasp, leather inserts in top with small holes, the other end slips over a little clasp that turns and keeps the pocketbook closed.

Jason, another great video. I think it’d be cool if you did a video on some of your finds that you put through electrolysis and show how they turned out. Keep up the great work!

You guys absolutely killied that yard, or was it a truck stop? I find it so interesting to think that somewhere out there, is someone in their late 30's who lost that ring who knows when, and is about to receive the incredible news that they're getting it back. Personally, it was one of the greatest moments in my life, not just treasure hunting, but in life getting a ring back to someone to whom it meant so much. Great day of digging men and GL with the return!

Another amazing hunt. Congrats to both of you. The class ring was the top find. I imagined a young man giving it to his girlfriend. They got into an argument and she tossed it out the window of his car. He looked and looked, but couldn't find it. Hope you're able to return it and get the real story as to how it may have gotten there. Looking forward to Thursday night. Thanks for another great video Quarter Hoarder. 👊

Jay, you two are literally about a mile from the quarry on Swamp Rd. That road has dump trucks running up and down RT 413 filled with gravel. It is very noisy, especially the empty ones. Hope you are at the tavern!

Another great hunt. The noise didn’t hinder the video at all.
