in roman languages; spanish, french etc. imperfect doesnt translate the same as in english. imperfect rather means "not acheived". often time its a lingering action, just like in english" im going or i was going" in the past could translate to iba = estaba idando (which is wierd). "i was going to the market, then something happened" iba al mercado y me paso algo. while "pasado simple" it happened. he ido/fui al mercado. same goes for querer. queria just translate wierdly to english. in french it would translate better to "je voulais" (i wanted) and quisé "je voulu" or "j'ai voulu" which would translate back in english to (i did want). the best way is not to think of it in english but rather start thinking in spanish and the cases and context of discussion will appear clearer in your head

mmm La verdad es que se aprende ingles con vuestros videos jajajajajaj ....hay poco español en ellos para mi gusto, pero ojo! no quiero que sea una critica destructiva eh?, lo dicho, pienso que me sirve para aprender ingles, en mis clases de ingles la profe habla casi todo el tiempo en ingles, explica en ingles muchas veces, yo diría que el 70-80% es en ingles y estoy hablando de un B1... espero que los estudiantes de español aprendan bastante.
