If you have any desire to upgrade parts (or even the whole printer), create mods, or use mods designed by others for your printer, you should be happy it's made from 3D printer parts (which are all open source and freely available - and a great point for starting mods). I also believe they use it to improve and prove their printer's reliability - which I appreciate as my Prusa has been problem free for five years. I believe the parts are just as durable given their use.

Surprised it still managed to print as much as it did with no fan running, if the fan on my ender 5 isn't spinning as soon as the printer starts printing it clogs nearly immediately.

0:19:50 - This. How does a $1000 Prusa compare to a $230 Neptune 3 Pro or a $350 Neptune 3 Plus? Is it just faster? Because it would seem that 3 slower printers might print more than 1 faster printer in the same amount of time for large projects for about the same price.

What's so special about that printing on wood? An old Ender3 with BLtouch or similar physical-touching probe would then also be able to print on that. I really don't see what this would proof w.r.t. the Mk4 ...

Hey Uncle Jessy, I have two of the same work benches as yours and am in the process of getting my small print farm rigged out and ready to take in the soon to arrive MK4. I guess I need to up my game by putting some kind of mannequin and some better lighting into my workspace, along with a stream setup.

My MK3 is printing in the room less than six feet from me. Yours is MUCH louder (due to table vibration and how it's mic'd, I'm sure).

Just think about it, it is important that a highly respected company sends out products 3D printed, it is very important that they 3D print some of the parts, so people can start accepting 3D printed as an acceptable standard because it is a high standard production.

Glad I didn’t wait for this printer and instead got the X1C.

I tried to wait for so long for this mk4 but after seeing the reviews I’m so happy I didn’t buy this. Brand new and so outdated already :(

What would be interesting is to start parallel print on MK4 and MK3S+ BUT with MK3S+ profile adjusted in prusaslicer to match MK4. If you edit profile in prusaslicer there is also a option to compare it to another profile - that's easy way to see differences between MK3S+ and MK4 profile. While looking at it I see mainly maximum acceleration options rised on MK4 a bit (like 1500->2000 or 1000->2500). The rest is mostly the same as in MK3S+. Would MK3S+ would be as fast as MK4 with these changes (while keeping quality) ?

I'm not gonna lie the bigges thing to me is it seems slow. Like why wouldnt the first file they preload be the 20min benchy. Also you should have done a speed test, we all know prusa prints well but the biggest thing was if this printer was actually going to be quick at all, I don't mean compared to corexy but for a bedslinger
