Made the untimely venture into 3d printing roughly a year ago, right before moving to our family house. The sheer amount of household items, wall mounts, alternative hinges offered by the prusa portfolio (and I mean Portfolio.. slicer, printables, webshop..) was and is insane.
The team and the community really built something here. Happy to see the developments continue, and all of us be happy part of it. Thank you.

Congratulations on the next generation! The original Prusa i3 design was a major inspiration and we still love ours. There have been so many incredible developments over the last 10 years, and it's great to see the newest iteration incorporating so much of what we have learned in a classic form factor. Great job on the new machine and kudos to the talented team at Prusa Research. May your next 10 years be as transformative as your first!

As always, great to see that upgrading is available from a Mk 3. Kudos. Great incremental upgrades, that add up to a lot. I like it. That said I may keep my customized Mk3 and add a Mk4. I wonder if you guys made belt tensioning any easier... tensioning the Y axis under the bed instead of up front at the pulley is silly, and the same goes for tensioning the X axis, at least on the mk3. But... fixed that with aftermarker printed parts, can probably do just that on the Mk4 if needed.

Congratulations Prusa on the releases and all the makers getting any printers! Loving my MK3S+ and minis for now, but always enjoy seeing the advancement in technology for others.

Also, see y’all using the LTT screw driver! 👀👀👀

Hmm, Its a good step forward but i still see the bambu lab ahead.
Kinda feels like the MK4 is at the state at which the MK3 should have been a long time ago. Especially when you take the price in consideration.
Yet a big leap forward always makes me happy. Good 3d printer will push the consumer Printer even further.
I hope many people will find joy with this printer.

Seems like another good product! And even if your options aren’t the *cheapest* i will still support them (along with other like minded developers) due to your role in keeping the Open Source dream alive!

(Currently using my first 3D Printer, an i3 MK3S+ I’ve had for a few months now and loving every bit of it)

I always wanted a Prusa printer until Bambu joined the game. I was so close to buying a Bambu, but now I am extremely happy that i didn't! For the most part, the only thing that stoppt me from buy a Bambu was the noise. But now that Prusa has Input Shaper and Pressure Advance with nearly *silent* operation, I am sure that I am going to buy a MK4!!! Damn great job Prusa on keeping up with Bambu and releasing a worthy competitor!!! <3
Response to some comments:
1. Bambu's prices are without VAT! Therefore the P1P and the Mk4 Kit have almost the same price.
2. I am going to wait for my order until they released the finished software with Input Shaper etc.
3. Regarding the noise and speed correlation, the most impressive part for me was the nearly silent 20 min Benchy - definitely recommend watching
