Dr. Purdom is a great blessing. God started my true interest in His word when He gave it to me to look at who was alive at the same time in the antedeluvian creation. I found it fascinating that Noah could ask his grandfather what the first created man was like, and that Shem died only a few years before Abraham was born. God's history is so closely related and redemptive history is short. I pray God would bless other lost sinners with a genuine interest in the Savior's blood.

I always forget that there are 7 pairs of ALL birds or better flying animals. I have to remember it at last.
God sent the 2 pairs every animal. Nōach had to choose the remaining 5 pairs himself and show God what was in the innermost of his person.
The clean animals stand for Yissrāʾēl and the unclean animals for the nations. Rev 5, 9-10; 7, 9-17 God saves people from all tribes, languages, peoples and nations.
