I almost DIED with “Postpartum Jukebox”! 🤣😂🤣

She absolutely SLAYS this cover. I’ve listened to it dozens of times. It’s damn near perfection! And yes, it’s scatting! (Singing without words, using random syllables and sounds. Very common in the jazz era of the 30’s-60s, and in a lot of jazz even to this day actually!)

In my opinion, Haley is better than Adele. She has an alluring tone, that distinctive rasp, and exceptional control. Haley is likely the most versatile singer today. There is no one I prefer listening to more.

I remember loving her on American Idol many years ago. I bought every one of her songs that iTunes offered back then ❤️ I’m happy she’s getting more recognition for her talent. Her vocals are a force of nature.

It’s called skatting I believe. The ‘boop-de-doop’ part. It was done a lot in the 30’s and 40’s. Post Modern Jukebox and Haley Reinhardt are really good together but they have many guest singers. Enjoy the journey ❤️

2nd, PostModern Jukebox plays songs in (obviously) an old jazz band style. Lol.
