NoSQL has some upfront advantages as far as denormanalization but you have to think long and hard if this is the right approach. If you need any type of reporting NoSQL needs to have dedicated collection which duplicate data, therefore, you need to have good programming in place to ensure when records are updated the “related” records are also updated.
Let’s say a customer gets married and they change their name. In SQL you simply change a single record. In NoSQL you need a script to touch any other records that hold the name value and change those.
On the other hand, if you have no reporting requirements, NoSQL is amazing for sending a single query and getting all the data you need.

Hey Jami, you mentioned something about "storing photos/images on Firebase." Is this done under "Storage"? I didn't realize Firebase held static content, and I'd like to move a couple images from another CDN to Firebase, where my app is being served.

Do you know if you can integrate express into an angular app on firebase or would do you need to use their cloud functions for data driven functionality?

I hoped that you may open AWS and show how it works at least in a comparison

What if there are millions or even billions of users, will both support the users equally?

AWS and Firebase are different types of platforms. AWS gives more granular control, such as encrypting files and fine grain access via S3. AWS also gives you full control of a full server vs. Firebase which gives short lived instances of a Node server. There are too many comparisons which have vast differences.
I do agree with the video that Firebase is a good sandbox and can potentially meet your needs. However, be wary of hard coding your iOS and Android apps to Firebase, if you decide to switch you will still need to support older versions of the app on Firebase even if you’ve moved on to another platform.
Hard coded apps, instead of web apps, should always point to a proxy server to keep the IP address consistent even if the endpoint changes.

Because of the many products, Amazon services will almost certainly need some IT knowledge. If you have an existing IT infrastructure
, Amazon is your only choice. On the other Firebase/firestore will get you going in no time, which is great if you are just a developer or team of developers, you are doing prototyping or you really don't know what your infrastructure should be. To be honest I am also biased, as much as Amazon services are great, I had to buy a udemy course just to understand the differences between each Amazon services and what they do(thanks Academind!!). Firebase/firestore have great fun videos here in youtube, really easy,
