Well what about all the settings? You can set you billing limit, You can also write rules.. etc so much option to prevent such events. Plus, making things from scratch would be another level of headache. Firebase already provides them with much features.

I had my data in MySQL .. then I realized to deploy it somewhere I have to spend money for a little backend job... So then I switched to firebase. Free, fast, and easy to use

Hmm, the real-time sync and ease of use ia what makes it attractive. There is no free alternative, except AppWrite. And coding the real time offline sync urself is not easy and very error prone. So what’s the alternative

If you structure your db right way, it becomes the best solution available

Depends on your use case. Firebase is easy to use, provides auto synchronisation, analytics and lots of other services...
