Thanks so much for this video guys! My JeepJl 2021 has a rattling noise during g rom acceleration plus it also has the digital oil percentage reducing 10%weekly But apparently has no oil missing. I had to do 1st oil change at 4300miles😲 very frustrating!!!

I'm almost convinced ethanol in some older engines can cause valve rattle. If I use 93 octane fuel the valve rattle seems to subside or go away completely.

How about a rattling noise that happens only when I hit the gas at low RPMs, like 1000-1200 only, and only when I'm in drive. Doesn't do it in neutral or park.

My car makes rattle sound on cold start and it only happens when I accelerate it does it for like 2 minutes when i'm driving and the sound goes away after that.

Anytime I turn turn my ignition and start my baby she likes to run fine until I press the accelerator, then what you hear is a sound. A weird sound that is comprised of scissors cutting hair. Lmao. When I press on the accelerator more its louder and more prominent especially in enclosed areas. The annoying sound disappears when, not a specific speed but when I hit around 30 to 40. Also goes away if I let it drive in cruise control. If I hold the accelerator the sound continues. It sounds like a fan just clicking the edge of your finger 24/7, but dissipates when I drive for a awhile.

Okay so I have a 2005 Honda Civic, and it's making like a weird, loud-squeeking-rattle noise. Like a high pitched rattle that seems to be going in and out while idling, but stops when you hit the gas. Any ideas? Thank you!

Thanks for the video, i have CItron Picasso diesel, on high speed motorway above 45mph(on low speed it runs fine and no issue) i hear rattling or something like puncture tyre sound from the front of the car, my tyres are fine, any clue please?

I have a rattle only when I climb hills but on highways no issues, i have a very small decrease in power going uphill but nothing that'll prevent the car from climbing anyway I have clue wth that's causing this

We just changed the battery and starter on my 2003 acura TL-S. It has a strange intermittent purr type of rattle anytime I am idling after revving the engine. I notice the effect is less when the a/c is off.

My 2008 Mercury Sable has a loud new rattle on top of the engine the entire time I'm driving, not just during cold start. It sounds rather plastic-y but it's under the valve cover. Any ideas I can investigate before tearing the engine down? It could be a vvt sprocket but I can't find enough info to narrow down the potential causes.

I have an 07 Sierra with a 5.3 AFM that has a rattle upon acceleration, and also has low oil pressure(10psi hot idle, 20psi driving). Already changed the sensor. Any thoughts?

Mine a jeep Cherokee. 35 percent oil too low? And it rattles in park when on and driving?

yeah soon as i got home it rattled because engine was slightly overheating, didnt realise i had a cracked radiator, kinda dulled my oil down and burnt abit (head seems fine etc). but it did like a rattle sound cos of low oil, put new oil in and suddenly went away, drive up and down the driveway with no rattle sound, think i just got lucky.. Other than needing to replace the radiator but that's better than an internal engine problem

Oh ya my 2011 scion xb keep consuming oil, , after adding the oil the rattling sound on acceleration gone.

I drive a manual and my engine is rattling when I’m in gear but without the throttle. If I keep in in neutral and coast there’s no sound. Doing an oil change later today and going down the line to check it all out
