LMAO I only wear the Rain Fly as a Cape :P hehe we'll have to camp together so I can give a demonstration in person. :P But I'm not getting up at 6am, I'll stay at camp and you can go get food lol
Oh gosh coastal town coastal Rockaway Beach always a special place in my heart because there's always very few tourists there, and with good reason because there really isn't anything there haha
I enjoyed Pacific City, and Nehalem.
Experiencing the East Coast version of Beach towns was.... eye opening. The Outer Banks had SO MANY tourist trap things, it makes the whole of the Oregon coast look like a ghost town lol

Great vid. Oregon has so much to offer. I've lived here my whole life and still exploring new areas. Best coastal area to explore for me is from Waldport to Florence. You can get lost for days in that part of the mountains. I grew up in NW Oregon but have lived in C.O. for 25 years which gives me 360* access to explore this beautiful state. Thanks for the ride along.

Here on the all pretty much coastal and all worth exploring as each one has something unique to offer 👍🏻 but if I had to pick just one it would have to be Qualicum beach because of the view, the ice cream and the donairs 😋

As far as my favorite coastal town to explore I think I would say the Long Beach peninsula. Which is more of an area. But from Illwaco up to Oysterville there is a bunch to see. Lots of history in that area starting with Lewis and Clark to WWll to the town of Oysterville. A lighthouse, worlds longest beach, cranberry bogs, etc.

My dad and I attempted route 6 about 6 years ago. Many reroutes and road closures. I lost respect for the people who developed the OBCDR as they haven't updated any of their maps for years and they don't like people sharing GPS teacks. I am patiently waiting for the BDR Non-Profit to develop an Oregon BDR. My dad crashed and broke his ribs on the closed road you were on around the 3 minute mark, we ended up bailing from the route just after Fairview Peak / Martin Creek to take him to the hospital. We were on a pair of TW200's.

The only thing I didn't like about this video... was.... only about 8 minutes worth .... I would have loved to have seen more.
