Things Get Out Of Control On This 600 mile Offroad Trail. WA Back Country Discovery Route.

The Washington back country discovery route or BDR is one of the most amazing things I have done offroad. My Toyota was the first vehicle on much of this trail in 2022 and being on this trail early made it absolutely brutal.
This was 10 days and 600 miles of unbelievable views, dangerous snow drifts and epic overland adventure!
Huge thanks to Powerstop Brakes and OnX offroad for making this trip possible!

Thank you so much for cutting the downed trees to the width of the road. It really grinds my gears when people cut the downed trees just wide enough to pass with an ATV or even a Jeep!

I enjoyed every minute of this video. I'm a 76 year old woman who drives a little soft roader, and I'll never do a trip like this, but I loved doing it vicariously through your video. And you did a great thing for everyone who does that trail by all your hard work clearing all those trees.

Trail fairies, or trail pixies, as we in Finland like to call guys who open winter trails for fat biking and mountain biking. You are definitely that, in a scale a step larger. As a fellow off roader, motorcyclist and mountain biker from thousands of miles away, you are awesome. Even if I don't ever get to drive that trail, thank you! And thanks for the episode!

I grew up in the Gifford Pincho National Forest. When I was a teenager this was what we did on the weekends. 4 or 5 of us would load up and head up to the high lakes by Mt. Adams and Mt. St. Helens clearing the roads as we went. The nostalgia of watching this is overwhelming.

I really like that you had three very different rigs and you showed what good trail stewardship looks like. Great video

Nate, this by far is one of the best overland adventure vblogs I have watched. I can't wait to get my rig up and running and who knows, maybe someday i will meet you on the trail. Until then keep the awesome content rolling.

I know everybody has said it already and I’m two days late, but there is nobody on YouTube in my opinion who can tell these off-roading and overlanding stories like you do. I never skip a second.

I envy the way you tell these stories. I’m even a little jealous at how good you are at telling these stories being a videographer myself. Keep it up man. I’ll always be watching!

Absolutely (insert expletive here) epic, Nate. I just don't have the words... I'm jealous of you and the life you are able to protray on YouTube. I know it's probably even a helluva lot harder than you let on in the videos, but the adventure I'm sure is worth it. And the fact that it's captured on video so you can enjoy it years from now, to ensure the memory of it doesn't fade, is epic in it's own right.
My hat off to you and the guys you went with. And while I'll probably never see the trails you were on, I thank you on behalf of anyone who does those trails, for the hard work you guys did clearing them. I've done some miniscule clearing of some downed trees in the past couple of years, but nothing like what you guys accomplished!
I live vicariously through your videos. If you ever find yourself in Chilliwack, BC, I'd love to take you out for a coffee (or drink of your choice)!

I grew up wheeling in Ellensburg, WA and loved seeing my old stomping ground’s. I now live in Santa Clarita, CA and play in the Mojave Desert. Great video, brought back a lot of memories.

The production quality of this film is off the charts. Nate, you’re in the YouTube big leagues with both content creation and production. The hard work shows! Thank you!

Great video. I love your mix of fabrication videos and trail videos. I’m a metal fabricator for 25 years now so I fabricate all of my own stuff for my JK. Keep up the good work.

Woah! That's Jason from AutoEdits! Small world. Didn't realize yall were friends. Haven't seen his videos in years but used to follow his 73 mustang build because I have a 71 that I'm restoring. Very cool! This looks like an awesome adventure!

Hmmmm. An unexpected “Lumberjack Buddies” video. This channel needs to blow-up; it’s what YouTube was made for.
