Join us on an unforgettable 9-day offroad and overland expedition through the rugged terrain of Oregon's Backcountry Discovery Route (OBDR). In this video, we document the hard times, challenges, and triumphs we encountered on our adrenaline-fueled journey.
This was a BEAST of a video to film and edit, but I think we ended up with a great second episode of the Powerstop Trail Series!
I hope this inspires you to call your adventure buddies and plan your next big trip.

Clicked on it and saw over an hour video…. Immediately cast it to the living room tv and kicked the family out. Lol time for a beer and a movie. Happy father day everyone.

Thanks for clearing the trees! We ended up running part of the route south of Mt Hood today.
We didn’t need our saws once.
You rarely get to thank the people who cut the trail for you!

You are so right in telling and reminding our fellow citizens that we need to take care of our forests.

Unforgettable adventure with still greater people. It's always worth the drive from TX to hang with y'all in the PNW.

Back in the 60's when I was a lot younger, my folks belonged to what was back then, the Rough Riders Jeep club. We didn't take 10 day trips cuz no one back then could afford to take 10 days off of work. So we'd go out for three or sometimes 4 days at a time. We went in some pretty knarly places so watching your videos brought back some long forgotten memories. We have a Polaris RZR now and it goes thru terrain like what you guys went thru waaay easier. But of course we can't carry all the stuff you guys carry so we just camp with our 5th wheel camper and just go out for a day at a time. But at least we're still getting out. I'm 73 now and even though I had a double heart attack last year, i'm still going to keep going out and enjoying our beautiful mountains here in Montana.

47:15 is a prime example why I have a portable/onboard welder in my rig. I have used it on myself, but mostly on friends and stranded strangers. I have used the Miller portable suitcase welder and currently running a on-board Power Welder System. Love them both.

Can't believe I didn't watch this sooner, it's such a great video and really appreciated seeing that square body Suburban out there.👍

A friend ran across this video and emailed me about it. Epic! I was actually attempting to do a solo drive of ORBDR section 5 the same day you were doing that section. Luck had me run across you guys twice on your trip. Both times, I was turning around because of the depth of snow I was seeing. My vehicle was a white F350 superduty. Now that I see what you guys encountered, I think I made the right decision. Maybe someday I will have the skills and experience to accomplish what you all did. That your suburban made it, tells me I am the limiting factor, not my vehicle! Glad you guys ultimately were successful and congrats on overcoming all the natural and mechanical obstacles that occurred during your trip. Best of luck on your next adventure! Hope to see you on the trails again some day!

OR resident and not far from the middle section I will definitely be going on the Oregon BDR this year and thankful that you guys cleared the way already for those of us taking it this year!! Great content and always a good day when Nate posts a new video.

This video rocked! I watched it twice - once on my phone and the second time on the big screen with the sound up! The production quality is amazing! You told the story of the journey, it wasn't a gopro strapped to a truck for an hour or a pile of handheld shots over one obstacle. Your storytelling is top notch. Your channel is the bar for offroad content!

Love how the guy in the gladiator brought his pups with him. Dogs make the best trips even better

Fantastic video Nate! You did a great job condensing that marathon of an adventure down to just over an hour. Thanks to David, Kelly, Arron, and Kris as well for an unforgettable journey and for putting your vehicles to the test. Good parts on your rig go a long way! We can't wait to see how this inspires others to go experience all the incredible places your vehicle can take you🤘

Truly interesting video, and mind-blowing stuff you guys did. I imagine doing it one day, but not at this time. Thanks for letting me take the trip vicariously through the efforts of the whole crew!

I have just recently purchased a Jeep JKU for this very purpose. It will need some serious upgrades but I’m committed to get it done. I have wheeled all over the ozarks and the trips you guys are doing are amazing. I’m torn because I also have a K30 Suburban. This for me is a fine line of weight vs horsepower. I have followed your channel for years ever since the Bleepin Jeep days. I stumbled across Dave’s channel when I started my Suburban path. I think you guys make a great team. Love the videos and the inspiration. Thanks Nate keep up the great work!!!
