This is the all-new 2024 Chevrolet Trax ACTIV! This Trax Activ comes in summit white on jet black leatherette interior. The powertrain consists of a 1.2 liter turbocharged 3 cylinder engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Standard features of this Trax Active include Bluetooth audio, a backup camera, and WIRELESS Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility. Additional features include heated front seats, adaptive cruise control with lane keep assist, and LED headlamps.

For all the haters on this turbocharged motor GM has been using this 1.2L 3 cylinder since 2020 with the trailblazer and no major recalls or issues. Change your oil and filter as stated in your Owners manual and don't drive with a heavy foot and your should get 200k miles

Lifetime powertrain warranty? Really wish that dealership was located in my neck of the woods. Great review. Honestly, for those who don't need AWD and never plan on off-roading; I can see the Trax siphoning off large chunks of sales that otherwise would have gone to the Trailblazer. Just being honest.

Great review! I'm hoping to be in a new Trax by the end of summer.
Sure, I had a concern about the 3 cylinder, but they've been around for years. People also raised concerns when Ford went with the V6 Ecoboost in the trucks, and they haven't been dropping dead due to being worked as you would in a truck. It's always a matter or maintaining your investment -- maintenance and not abusing it. Turbocharged engines aren't an off-the-shelf engine, they've been engineered for the stresses and strains they'll see; just like any regular engine would be too.

Only 2 complaints I have with this car is no AWD option and no rear vents. I get they’re trying to save money with the vents and such, but such an easy addition even if a package

Does anyone know if the leg room (width) is comfortable for tall people? I’ve been in some vehicles where my legs just feel squished, even in the drivers seat.

What I find incredible is that Consumer Reports condemned this Chevy Trax for its, according to them, cheap interior.
Sigh... What do you expect for a low cost vehicle? A Benz interior? By the way: there's are reports online that turbo engines are a nono in general. Why? Because that type of power plant will bring problems in time for owners. I believe that if you maintain your vehicle in the proper way, and don't run it into the ground carelessly, so to speak, it will serve you well without mishaps! There, I'm off my soapbox. LOL. But that sticker price doesn't include dealer prep, tax, title, and that ceramic coat they put on.

So you're not going to leave the dealer ship only paying $26, 000.
