6 tips for being more comfortable on camera
Показать описание
Do you feel your stomach turn in knots or knees buckle the moment the camera turns on or you have to step in front of a large audience? 🫠
I do! …seriously. I have horrible stage fright and I’ve been on TV for over 3 decades. 🫣 But choosing it as my career, I really had no choice but to get comfortable with the uncomfortable. So here are 6 things I am constantly thinking about/doing as I talk to the camera or a room full of people. None of these include *picture them in their underwear* but if that works for you, who am I to judge? 😉
1. Don’t memorize your script verbatim, focus on 3-5 bullet points
2. Picture yourself having a conversation with one person
3. Slow down when you speak
4. Breathe and move around
5. Don’t rehearse too much
6. Focus on your message
What tips would you add?!
