Slightly off topic, I found the Apple pie recipe from when I was in 4H (that pie won me $50 and grand champion at the fair) and it called for those dehydrated apple rings all our grannies used to bake with in the 70’s. Then I realized I hadn’t seen them at the store recently. So then I actively searched for them, couldn’t find them. When exactly did they stop selling those dried apple rings that were in the baking aisle?
