For generations, both believed power shaped the galaxy. But when Luke Skywalker faced Emperor Palpatine, he proved them wrong. Palpatine believed he could manipulate Luke, just as he did Anakin. But this time, something unexpected happened. Luke didn’t fight for power—he fought to save his father.

But Luke evolved beyond the Jedi that Palpatine had known—selfless, compassionate, and willing to trust in love, not strength.

Like George Lucas said, “It rhymes.” Darth Bane evolved the Sith, but Luke evolved beyond the Jedi. He didn’t just end the conflict—he created a legacy neither the Jedi nor the Sith ever imagined.

Luke became much more than the Jedi ever were. He took his attachments and made them a strength and not a weakness. The Force was truly with him.

Also, Luke sensed the dark side in Kylo, immediately gave up on him and threw away everything to satiate his bloodlust.

and yet in the sequels luke tries to rebuild the jedi order as it was during the galactic republic, or atleast use those principles.

that is to say, legends had it much more realistic. the main principle of legends luke’s order was to let the force guide your journey. jedi don’t have to be strictly bound to the light side (the belief that made the galactic republic jedi order impose all those rules and restrictions); everyone just thought it was that way. imean mace windu was proof of that, but the order was constantly on edge about his practice of vaapad and honing his shatterpoint abilities.

Luke is what a Jedi should be it's like he Molded the 2 factions in One. He use the Darkside's power for good his attachment and love and compassion saved his Father. He's the One with Light and Dark.

Luke is like the Truest Sith and Jedi. Destroyed both beliefs and proved that dark and light needed each other. His Discipline and Attatchment makes him stronger. He followed the Will of Force.
