Why Were The Jedi TERRIFIED of Sith Magic? 😱

Why were the Jedi absolutely terrified of Sith Magic!?

And Sith Magic or Sorcery shouldn’t be confused with just using the Force cuz these powers were much different!

See, Sith Magic tapped into the Dark Side Force powers energy but used ancient rituals, spells, artifacts and incantations to manipulate reality and influence events!

And the Jedi didn’t like the idea of powerful evil individuals controlling reality and events!

But Sith sorcerers had no problem disrupting the Galaxy’s natural order to achieve their goals.

Also, Jedi who battled against Sith Magic first hand felt as if they were being strangled from their connection to the Force.

And in some situations like in the Legends Dark Apprentice book, things got even worse!

Cuz one of Luke Skywalker’s apprentice’s named Kyp Durron was influenced by the spirit of Sith Lord Exar Kun to use Sith Magic against his teacher!

And Kyp didn’t know how powerful using Sith Magic was cuz when he assaulted Luke, he ripped his soul right out of his body putting him into a coma!

Yeah I can definitely see why the Jedi were scared of this stuff!

Jedi, like mankind, always feared what they didn't understand or couldn't control. While it's true that Sith Sorcery and Alchemy had terrifying potential and produced scarey results, not willing to learn about it, so to know how to deal with it out of fear was always what did more harm than good in certain situations.
