The idea of the Ukrainians slowing down comes from someone who in essence knows nothing. Recent example during last winter did it slow them down 🤔! So far the fields will become soggy and therefore not as easy to traverse. However when the temperatures drop to temps of -20 to -30c the ground will harden, also being well equipped for the winter the Ukrainians will not give the orcs any peace in their pursuit to remove them off their land!!

Winter could be Ukraine’s best friend, if they can get good cold weather gear. Yes, a winter campaign is difficult, but considering Russian logistics and the abysmal quality of Russian supplies, plus low Russian morale, it’s a golden opportunity for Ukraine. Also Europe is not going to be happy this winter and Ukraine may need decisive victories to keep the Europeans in line. It might even be a great time to wander down to Crimea. Who knows?

What the Russians need most, right now, is time. They need time to train new soldiers and get more equipment out of storage, repaired, and shipped to their defensive lines, and the winter will give them that time. If the Ukrainians stop attacking during winter, then Russia will have time to regroup. So the Ukrainians HAVE to find a way to keep fighting through winter, otherwise they're going to be facing massive Russian counter offensives, come spring.
