I really enjoyed the story. I’m glad the family got what they deserve. They treated Chikage like trash and they got a taste of their own medicine. I was happy when she cut ties with her family. This story reminds of a similar one on the manga room channel. The MC’s parents treated him like crap and they adored his brother. Then one day they invited him to go in a family trip only to trick him and leave his stuff on the road. Luckily he saved a pretty girl and she invited him over to her house to work as a butler and he was adored by everyone in the girls family then the parents came back asking the MC to help them but he refused then the brother tried to force the MC to help them when the girl showed and said she was gonna call the police and they left.

honestly it came of as a blessing in disguise that they showed their true colours early.She had time to recuperate till the moment came when she had to become independent as an adult.
Not so much for the younger kid.
A bright kid who had a soft corner for his sis was spoilt and spit out in the open when she became a liability.
Parenthood is a big responsibility where u distribute love and responsibility in equal measures.Sadly not many are attuned to it

This is a great story and I'm proud of chikage for not being too forgiving towards her family. It's okay to forgive but those kind of treatment towards her is unforgivable. I read and watched alot of this kind of story but the mc/fmc is too forgiving that even though he/she is almost killed he/she will still forgive them and I hate that kind of story that they think they are a god to forgive everyone who wronged them.

This Toxic Family got what they deserve for Picking Up Favorites and not loving Her Back so I'm happy and glad that she has a supportive Grandmother and a Kind Man that loves her so Much so She can be Happy for the First Time in a Long Time, I do feel Bad for the Sister even though she was a Jerk, she needed so help to become better and at least help her Pregnancy, maybe in a Part 2 if it's Possible.

When i first saw this I was like, "is this my mom's backstory?!" then when i watched, it was about 30% bahahaha.

My mum's side, she never went to college, she was the one who did all the chores and cooking, she was a bit of a delinquent when she was younger.

Her ending? My grandfather apologized and she forgave her unconditionally, she got along with all her siblings especially the sister that was spoiled, oh but before that my grandparents weren't happy when she and my dad moved out, because she was the one who did all the cooking and cleaning. So my grandparents had to adjust but everything was gucci in the end.

Here is message of this story family who ignored neglect and abused you are sinkhole and scumbags you owes your abusive family nothing, and that you had every single right to run away from or disassociate from them. For those who grew up in dysfunctional families or have tense or bad relationships with family members, it's refreshing.You also have every single right to cut toxic people, whether it's horrible parents, horrible siblings, or bad friends or bad families out of your life.

I personally believe that the fact that they constantly gave the treatment to chinami and then when chikage got married and then chinami got slapped I consider that Karma!!! Poor chikage not even getting food or water from them is just disgrace!!! At least all the other previous ones gave them the basic necessities!!!
