"I'll believe corporations are persons the day they get a colonoscopy". Now that's a brilliant quote I'm gonna steal and use, thanks !

I'm Gen X - turned 50 in Jan. I have nothing for retirement. As a single parent, and the only child, I've spent everything I've earned taking care of the people I love who cannot take care of themselves for various reasons. And emergencies pop up much faster than wage increases. My retirement plan is a long walk off of a short pier at this point.

Not only do most people nearing retirement have little or no savings, but those who livied frugally and managed to save some money, now discover that their savings only buy a tiny fraction of what the money could have bought at the time they saved it!

"We only got two parties. We got Tweedledum and Tweedledee". How apt is this description of the US political parties.

Hedges says it best, "They know what is coming". When we all get on the same page the battle for the record of history will be forever altered and up in the air as all hell is set loose.

Great show! The few humane lawyers, who dont serve corporate interests, but the public good. Good professionals, not money hungry and performing good services are hard to find in our greedy, money driven society

Funniest line: I'll believe a corporation is a person when they have a colonoscopy - great interview. Brought me back to a different time that this generation will never know - until /unless they look into the broken mirrors to see truth...The more love in your life the less stuff you want - then & only then will you possess righteous anger to stand up to power! .
I'm 74, my generation majored in teaching, social sciences & law because we wanted to contribute to society. We didn't have student loans & there were lots of jobs so our basic needs were easily met - money wasn''t our motivator - love was! We were in love with this Earth & "all creatures great & small" There were no strangers in our life.

Dr. Wolff, we baby- boomers are a huge demographic and we are starved for trustworthy retirement asset management. I suggest this topic as a worthy and mutually beneficial focus for Democracy At Work.

Excellent show!! Democracy starts with liberty and justice! We have allowed an society that lacks equality on so many levels. It’s unfair to just call out the economic inequality!! This country was build on inequality! Slavery the original sin that America still hasn’t made whole or equal! So this whole thing about equality needs to be met all the way down the line!

Outstanding lecture Dr. Wolff! Representative Omar brings honesty to Congress, so she is being attacked by all the liars, of which there is no shortage in the "Democratic Party". Go Warren and Sanders, and the Green New Deal!!! Thank you AOC for all you do.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United corporations of America. And to the shareholders to which it belongs. 1 oligarchy under a non-existent god with liberty and justice for the 1%.
