Thank you SO MUCH for the note on the active cell. I couldn't figure out what was going wrong and that was it!

What if you want to add the conditional formatting to the whole column? So when I add more rows in the future the formatting will automatically be in the column. When I do this the blank rows turn red along with past due dates. I don’t want the blanks to turn color.

Great Video Chester !! Thank you soooo much ! It really helped allot !!

To help those with multiple criteria & dates, this is what I got working for me and my company stock expiry list and also to "Highlight" the complete row.
Row 1 to 2 was used as headers and filters, hence why I specified from I3 or AT3
Items was located in Column I - Named: "TEST"
Dates was located in Column AT
Item Expiry after 2 years
To be removed out of storage after 2 years and 1 month.

=AND($I3=("TEST"), (YEAR(TODAY())-YEAR($AT3)>=2), (MONTH(TODAY())-MONTH($AT3)>=1))

I sincerely hope this helps!

Have a great one !

Hi! I hope you see this comment on an older video. This is SO CLOSE to what I'm looking for and I'm hoping you could help. What I'm looking for is, how can I highlight a cell if the checkbox it's linked to is "False" after a certain date? If the context helps I have a table that has each month as a row, and each cell in that row has a review for an employee that's due in that month. (For example in the January row it may have 1 cell that has Sally, another cell that has John, etc.)

If Sally's review didn't get completed in January when it's due (the box is linked to a checkbox), then I want conditional formatting to highlight Sally's cell if the box isn't checked by February 1st.

I hope this makes sense!!

Great Video. Can you show a format for: If "Z" reads Unpaid, then highlight the row based on the overdue date in row Y. But, if row Z reads "Paid" don't highlight row Y based on the overdue date? Is there such a thing?

I dont understand how to adjust this formula to let me know when the due date is within 30, 60, 90, and 180 days.... Ive tried several tutorials and they dont seem to be working with EXCEL 2016...

If I select a range, and there are cells that are blank, it will highlight them. How do I change that, I don't want blank cells to be highlighted.

Hopefully

Is there a way to format the date to change its color to red when its 10 days after the certain date? lets say a cell with 12/2/2021 will turn red automatically when it will be 22/2/2021
