ya know, I'll always remember in my early 20s me and the guys were living the dream. Had our own place, playing in a band, conquering the world - you know how it is. But life was tough.

One winter in particular we were broke as hell, not a dollar to our name. The power was just turned off, it was cold, raining.. and we had one bag of ramen noodles, beef flavor. So we poured the flavor into the bag and crunched them up, and that was our meal for the night. Dry ass ramen in a cold dark house.

I look back on those days and often reference that night as a low in life. Because at the time it was hell, man.. really. But it was also a high. Which is the real point of this.

There have been far worse times in life, especially when losing someone you love. But sometimes, the suck you're going through is going to be something you reference as a time that shaped you. A moment that either solidified a bond or put you on a new path in life.

Just remember life gets better. Always.
