FYI: The mint one typically grows to using in cooking is spearmint, not peppermint. Spearmint is the mint used in dishes throughout the Middle East.

Love mint! My grandma used to grow it and used it all the time. I love peppermint tea it's good for preventing bloating.

Hi dr Berg I’m on day 6 of keto I’m south Asian female 41 5.10 and 160lb live in the UK i don’t really have any weight issues I was fed up of wanting to fall asleep every time I ate carbs I literally saw something on YouTube about the keto diet a few days earlier and decided I wanted to try it I’m not a big eater 1-2 meals a day and since I started keto I literally force myself to eat the 2 meals because I know I need the veg, I wanted to know do I still follow the 75%fat etc meal plan or do I reduce the fat intake I got a fitness pal app and that has given me different %of fat etc to follow so I’m a little confused.Your videos have been a lifesaver thank you dr for all the efforts you put in to help us .

Dear dr. Berg. Thank you for introducing this great diet to me. I am 46 years old woman and have lost 11kg in 3 months without being hungry. I suffer from depresion and i forget a lot because of stress i indure at work but this way of eating gives strength to my mental health. Lot of people in Slovakia dont understand what is keto diet or the interm.fasting but after loosing 11kg I get a bit of platform and i try to introduce it to people who are interested. Thanks again. Oh by the way my son has IBS so i will make sure to tell him about the mint.
