I have quit the following:
Coffee, 1 year+
Alcohol, 90 days
Porn & masturbation, 160 days
Video games, 30 days

... the one habit/addiction I am going to try next will be reducing phone / computer usage and doing more activities out doors or with friends and family. I actually think this will be the hardest one to reset lol.

I stopped drinking coffee a few times in my life from one month to six months. It made me feel more relaxed but life was very boring.

Better skin and much calmer without coffee

When I gave up coffee I started having high quality sleep, my skin started to glow, dark circles around my eyes have lighten up. Gained more muscle mass. But…..The great thing about coffee is how I become super productive on it. Also it’s delicious. Even now I’m battling with myself to grab a cup 😞. It’s a battle that never ends for me

I'm on day 41 of no coffee, it's been challenging at times but my sleep is so much better and my teeth so much whiter!

I was anxious for about 4 years. I always thought, it's just me and I can't change it. After a bit of research, I found out that coffee/caffeine was the problem. When I drink coffee, I feel happy and full of energy for about half an hour. But then I feel anxious for about 10 hours. Also my emotions get kinda blocked. I get no motivation to do things, that I normally enjoy. Now I stopped drinking coffee for 1 month and I'm feeling much better now. I'm feeling calm, the sleep is much better and my energy level throughout the day is much higher.

I stopped a while ago. Reason why I drank coffee is because I like something hot in the morning. I started drinking Hot Water instead. Sounds weird but I like it. It’s relaxing and I’m hydrated. Try it.

I quit caffeine in August 2021 and I'll never go back. The benefits increase over time 👍

Decaf has small amounts of caffeine. Usually 15 mg a cup

When I started my caffeine free journey I realized how addicted I was to it and how it ran what time I get up vs when I sleep. I’m way more productive now, I’m able to wake up earlier and sleep earlier, I know it sounds boring but instead of having 3 cups of tea a day have 2 cups of tea and one hot cup of water with fruit in it to give it some flavour, now I only drink cold water, hot water with fruit or tonic water cold or warm different textures and temperatures of water make it interesting and hard to miss coffees, teas and soda

Green tea with honey is the best alternative if you are looking to still have an energy kick

I can taste the difference between decaf coffee and the other, but I use the artisan stuff for both. I stopped 4 days ago, and the decaf tastes "nice" but it doesn't taste quite as "deep" for lack of a better word.
It is still tough going, but having my nervous system burst into flames twice a day was really lowering quality of life. Today was the first day it feels doable long term

Day 34 no caffeine. I think of it time to time but really don’t miss it. My drug of choice was a 5 hour energy a day, even when I didn’t feel I needed it. Ordered the stuff two cases at a time from Walmart and Amazon. Looked forward to the 5 min initial pick me up. I know, sad. Had to let it go. Too much anxiety. Replaced Starbucks. 17 years of caffeine to feel upbeat and energetic. Not how long it will last. Be encouraged.

I have not drinked energy drinks or any caffeine past week. Only good change is that i fall sleep more easily and save money. But its winter and i am very tired at 5.pm and more depressed. I think i will go back to caffeine because it makes me more energetic.

So in other words you didn't quit coffee, you just switched to decaf (which still has a little caffeine).

Been off caffeine for 3 years now. Looking back I realize that I was much happier the period I drank coffee. Thinking about starting again.

I said the same but accidentally got hooked to caffeine again thru soda during a super hot summer lol I'm trying to quit again and not looking forward to the horrible continuous headache during withdrawal 😭
