What a guitar solo! Terry Kath was one of the best guitarists ever. We lost him too young. RIP 🙏

It was 1970 and my parents asked me if I wanted to go see Chicago. They had front row seats at Barton Collusiom in Little Rock, Arkansas. I was 7 so I said I would rather play with the kids next door. Really bad call. Moms friend went to the doc the next day cause she lost her hearing. Sounded like a kick ass good time.

Everybody's mouth drops open the first time they see this. Probably the best live rock performance ever filmed. The dramatic horns put this into OMG territory when combined with Kath's inspired solos. The joy of music written on your

Terry Kath is the lead guitarist and the trombone is the name of that horn. The world lost a great guitar player when Terry passed and Chicago was never the same band after that. Also, we need more of you dancing!!

Hi, you have just watched probably the best live performance of this classic song, with an epic guitar solo by one of the most underrated guitarists in the history of rock music, Terry Kath. As I’m sure someone has already mentioned, Jimi Hendrix went to see them play at a club on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood early in their career (when they were still called Chicago Transit Authority) and he went up to the sax player and related how good the band sounded, then he asked who the guitarist was and said “He’s better than me”! Jimi also said that he’d love to do an album with them sometime, but he passed away before they could get together. Unfortunately, Terry Kath also died young at 31 y/o in 1978 due to a gun accident. He was fooling around with a handgun he owned at a party, pretending to play Russian roulette, and he assured people that the gun was unloaded, but he forgot to check the chamber which had one round and when he pulled the trigger, he shot himself in the head.

They opened for Jimi Hendrix back in 68 and Hendrix told them "I am good but your guitarist is better then I am"!

Sweet baby girl back for more 25 or 6 2 4. That horn you asked about is a trombone with the long slide piece.

i think you're talking about the trombone, the instrument that has a slide that goes back and forth to change the pitch.
