The Tanglewood concert in 1970 video is priceless. Terry Kath is perhaps the most underrated guitar player ever, because the rest of the band was so tight. The way he goes from frantic scratching rhythm to shrieking solo and back again is incredible

Terry Kath was a pure guitar player. He wasn’t showing off or trying to be a magician, he was in the music and playing straight what he felt.

Not only is Chicago a great band, but they were great friends. They played for us in New Orleans at the Warehouse in 1970 and 71. They knew we were about to go out of business, so they wouldn't take any money and we able to pay our bills and stay in business.
