From Chicago 18, the first album with second bassist, Jason Scheff as lead singer after the departure of Peter Cetera. Chicago decided to do a remake of the hit from Chicago II. Enjoy this remade version!

p.s. I made a video earlier on with the comparison of both versions. The video was titled Jason vs Peter.

They opened the 18 Tour concerts with this. Original version was played at the end.

I like it, it's just a different take on a classic.

Lots of classics also "destroyed" by weirdly over-produced cover versions. I got such a laugh out of it, the day I played CHICAGO 18 for my friend Jim (who loved the group). The 4th song was a cover... and it takes about 30 seconds before you realize which one. I sat there watching Jim as the song played, waiting for the HORROR I knew would appear on his face when he realized what they had done!!!
I said, "I guess they figured, why wait for somebody else to murder it, when we can make more money doing it ourselves?" 😆
There's a single mix that is EVEN MORE outragious than this one!

Jason Scheff had to sound like Peter Cetera for his first tune with Chicago, and he does a pretty good job with 25 or 6 to 4 (1986)
