I got my first real guitar when I was 12. Taught myself by watching players on tv and a few beginners books. House of the rising sun was the second song I learned to pick through. I love this version. Great recording too!

I am honestly and I mean honestly stunned both by the powerful yet controlled voice and sheer talent you have.
I've spent many hours per day on youtube for at least a decade and I have left comments a handful times, but sir you need to understand how amazing your cover of this song really is, I can't imagine a better way to express through singing the emotions and vibe that this song was originally created to express.

Just saw Alex at Crabby Bill's on The Beach in Indian Rocks, Florida on May 17, 2022. I can honestly say this guy is one of the best solo acoustic guitar players/singers that I have ever seen and listened to. And the dude is humble and gracious as well! Southern Florida has a ton of talent but this guy kills it!----
