This week's guest is Poly-Ritmo and this will be her second mix in this channel! The first one has been the most viewed guest mix so far with more than 670k views!

Despite 2020 canceling most gigs, Poly-Ritmo performed her boiler room debut, headlined a festival in Tunisia and hosted many live sessions for Vinyl Factory. In this episode, Poly-Ritmo delves deep into her collection of records from French-speaking islands in the Caribbean - Guadeloupe, Martinique and Haiti. Despite being small, these islands have a rich and diverse musical heritage. Poly-Ritmo plays a wide range of styles, including gwo ka, zouk, cadance and disco.

I love the music and im gracious for Poly sharing music from home but it would also be cool to see DJ's from these countries share what they like. It hits different.

Another great Poly-Ritmo's set in My Analog Journal. What a great combination. As clubs in general are closed here in São Paulo, I took the freedom of dancing with myself more than Billy Idol would do. For people used to dance zouk in the Brazilian way, the first songs had the right tempo and made me remember some steps that were buried right into some part of my brain, while "Santo Domingo" (Crystal) wakes up our inner Tony Manero. As people are passing through pandemics, the "sad" part of the end served almost as a reminder for people to come back to reality after cheering themselves up.
