You have mentioned in the past that the temperature in your garage can get a higher than you like. Something that would make a big difference would be insulating that garage door with rigid foam. You can cut your own pieces out of rigid insulation sheets, or buy a kit, all available at builder stores. Even if your door doesn't get direct sunlight, the amount of heat radiated in through from outside is extensive. It will make a big difference. Lowering the temps in my garage even helped keep temps down in the portion of my house above my garage.
