Squealing noise during acceleration.

The reason for this is the tensioner, which is one of the wheels that spin the belt. After a lot of miles it breaks. It’s very easy to install. Don’t get ripped off by paying someone to do it. They wanted to charge me $900 for labor and parts. It took me 2-3 hours to do it myself. Another thing it can be is a pulley which is also a wheel that spins the belt. This wheel has a bearing inside and with time it runs out of grease which makes it sound loud. Watch a video of how to do the job and do it yourself. I hope this helps

I was told whenever you heard that sound your turbos are toasted. But did you figure out what it was?

I have this noise too. But it appears when i accelerate a lot. Like high speed on the freeway and than when i hit gas pedal i hear this squeeling noise. Could it be the turbo? What was yours?

As your serpent belt needs to be changed nice Infiniti Q 50 though or Q 60 or whatever engine that is VRQ

I replaced the serpentine belt idler pulley and tensioner on my 2010 ford fusion never had this problem before I replaced the parts but it makes the same sound

Bro can it damage engine ?. Because last week i derived my wagon R with this sound for 8/9 km and the car stopped, when opened hood there was no coolant in radiator as well as the heated up. Had to replace engine assembly. Was is this the culprit of all problem or any other reason ?. Thanks

Mines don't sound like that but the been sitting up for about a year and when u go to start it up it squills then when u give it gas it squills but when u let off the gas it stop the squilling any suggestions of what it might be
