Note to add, just because your belt is bad or worn out doesnt mean you should toss it in the trash as it could come in handy should the new belt have catastrophic failure. A bad belt is better than no belt at all. Just my $0.02 :)

Never spray your belt with any lubricant, that is a really easy way for it to slip.

Normally, when it only squeaks on start-up, it just needs tension adjustment, especially if it's a new belt or it was removed and reinstalled.

4:38 Make belt more pliable . Some people soak their belt overnight in 303 Protectant . Wipe off belt and install and I perioddically spray the belts with this, even when engine is running .

Thank you but I changed the belt and tensioner twice and it still squeeks. I changed all the pulleys, and even tried a new alternator but the problem is still there. I will change them now for the third time and I will try different company for parts -.- It's very annoying.

I soak my NEW belts, in Armour All - for about 2 days = then change it.
