Stucco corrections over a poor ugly patch.

Wouldn’t it be cool if “every patch was a perfect match”? It might be fantastic, but unrealistic?
Matching stucco finishes is like fingerprints. We all have different ones.
All you homeowners or DIY folks can do this, the corner might be tricky, but you can always wet a small two-by-four as a template.
The key is to remove all the loose stucco and clean the brick surface very well.
Now paint a bonding agent on the old brick and the surrounding perimeter.
You can use Quikrete sold at home depot. A bottle costs less than ten bucks.
Now mix the stucco.
You can buy a twenty-five-pound box of Rapid Set Stucco, also sold at Home Depot or lowes.
Mix it in a bucket and apply it over the missing stucco. Lastly, blend it in.
You might also invest in a green sponge float for about 7 dollars.
These sponge floats help blend the finish in well.
