I think my biggest challenge used to be that I didn’t understand what "hearing God" could actually look/sound/feel like…that’s it’s not always words per say but actions, feelings, changed ways, shifts in your life, etc. Once I understood that concept, I realized that God had been speaking to me for so long, I just didn’t have the clarity and comprehension to hear and understand him.

I’ve never thought of Gods silence as a good thing. I’ve grown up Christian but never felt like I was going about this journey correctly or as if I was too lukewarm to hear him. Although he has always been working in my life and I have evidence of his glory I always wondered “although I know you are here why can’t I hear you, or why do you not speak to me directly” Now that I’ve rediscovered God for myself there are a lot of revelations I’ve had in different forms ( from God using other ppl to get to me or the Holy Spirit working through me” Now I feel comfort with the perspective of the silence being a stepping stone for my hunger to grow and to become more intimate with God. God trusts me enough to know I am able and will not falter. AMEN!

1:04:36 that part!!!! I had to let go my whole circle this year because of their discouragement in my walk with Christ. At a time I thought I could be friends with them even though we weren’t on the same path but I’m thankful that god works in the ways that he does. I definitely needed to let go. If you’re having a hard time cutting off discouraging friendships…ask god for strength and he will provide🙏🏼🙌🏼

I would love to hear more on your thoughts behind why a lukewarm Christian wouldn’t be considered Christian. I’m just thinking of it in a standpoint in someone may be Christian and strong in their faith but through whatever obstacle or trial and tribulation, they backslide. Backsliding looks different for everyone but essentially when you backslide you become “lukewarm”. Just to point out, I’m not saying this is what you’re saying but I feel like it’s unfair to say in the midst of hard times which we all go through as Christians, in our backslide, we can no longer call ourselves Christian. They are still followers of Christ and still believe that He is their savior but they have just become weakened in a certain area. Thanks in advance, I really hope you see this! 💕

This literally what my mom has told me ALL my life it doesn’t matter what you see on people maybe that know all the Bible or they som of the pastors but you don’t know what it’s in their hearts maybe you are the one getting salvation because you know god you love him accept him as your king an savior and the person that you saw praying all the time and knowing all the Bible does have salvation
