Demonstration of kinesiotape application for the back of the knee. This application is for pain over the tendon ,running vertically side of the knee and for this application patient stand with the leg extended back stretching the hamstring.
K-tape helps treat the area by relaxing or supporting the muscles, reducing pressure in the area and may increase circulation.
To apply the tape, place the tape below the knee with absolutely zero stretch and go over the tendon of the knee. Peel the paper off with 50 percent stretch halfway lay that tape down and ankle down with absolutly zero stretch and give the whole thing a little rub just to create some friction some heat that gets to adhere to the skin well. Some helpfull tips , don't apply on oily or lotion skin or excessive hair in this area and this application of k-tape can be use with knee support.

Appears to be too much tension on the tape. Normally you don't see 100% tension on the tape on the area of pain.

no explanation and shouldnt you start at the tendon?

That is a lot of tension and usually it’s best to start at an anchor point
