Amen Sister friend! I went from a 10K sq ft suburban lot to 5 partially wooded acres with a large pond and orchard. Chainsaw, ZT mower, coop building (9 now) small engine repair, winching down trees out of valleys. You got it!

How long have you been homesteading ? Is it true most don’t make it 2 years ? In this economy you pretty much need a major side hustle to have one like selling something or YouTube to make it work. We do as much as possible but can’t 100%

It's just the return, the call of the earth and the voice of your ancestors.

You have the internet. Thousands of years of collective knowledge available at the push of a single button. If you're "winging it" then you are WASTING the trial and error of MILLIONS OF PEOPLE OVER THOUSANDS OF YEARS. Farming is the real oldest profession, therefore, there is more knowledge about Farming than ANY OTHER SINGLE SUBJECT.
