The encouraging thing about this is that all the comments are pretty much against this narrative. There is hope.

When they restrict where you go, that's not just urban planning. That's dictating you.

‘Conspiracy theorists/theories’, ‘deniers’, ‘…phobe’, etc, etc. it’s basically the standby button used to turn off people’s critical thinking and make those who do question in good faith ‘the smelly kid’. Sadly it works rather too well.

If this project would be mandatory just for the city planners, I would be happy to accept it, but it comes with a limited number of car exists from the “city” per month and street cameras to count these exists. These restrictions look like the project will be mandatory to the citizens.

People are so bloody paranoid. You can get on a bus, bike, train, taxi to anywhere you like, when you like. The 15 mins BS is in your head. Conspiracists get out of your head and go for a damn walk.. that's over 15 mins. Don't worry you won't get arrested if you go to 16 mins or over. Jesus.

Why don't councilors care? Did anyone ask to see their incentive package?

Medieval serfs were not allowed to leave the manor property without permission of their lord. I imagine the daily range of a serf was no more than 15 minutes from their home. That's probably where they got this idea from ... serfdom

It's really not that deep, nobody is being forced to stay anywhere, it's just about making sure that everyone lives close to everything they need regularly.

Hello guys, if you want something serious to protest for here are some ideas for you: against inequality, lack of support for NHS, public schools, social services etc. Social housing, war, environmental catastrophy, racism, brexit. Thank you.

(1). So they're thinking of taking away combustion engine cars that can run for hours, instead they want to replace them with electric cars that can be switched off remotely.
(2). They're introducing Central Bank Digital Currency, that will help them know what you spend on, how much you have, etc.
(3). They're introducing social credit scoring system wherein how you behave and what you do will determine how much credit you get to spend and what freedoms you get.
(4). They're wanting to limit your movements to 15mins walking out cycling distance. So can catch up with you at will.

Communist state being brought in. Democracy has been killed off.

The reason for conspiracy is because it's hard to give destructive slaves freedom.

Who's a government mouthpiece aye!
Not one real point made about 15 min cities here other than the proposal statement itself Conspiracy theorists or concerned citizens willing to stand up for what we believe in? We don't care what we are called! We know what we are!

Do you see how they subconsciously condition the masses into accepting it? ITV did a similar video and it literally opens with "Why are conspiracy theorists jumping on it?" and ended with subconcious conditioning when he says "There are some legitimate criticisms though about wether getting rid of cars would really work and wether people might mix less with those living elsewhere". It then cuts to a scene of him at a table where he uses the same method they used during COVID to get people to install Track n Trace, "But if it's better for the PLANET and makes life more convienient". Textbook propaganda manipulation. People hear "but if it's better for the planet" and blindly agree to sign more of their freedom away.

The small detail the promoters hide: this is not optional ( except maybe at the begginig to fool people ) it is compulsory. They already mention a limited number of exists from your “15 minutes city”.

This fella needs to realise some things are more important than a pay cheque. He needs to go find another job because you can’t morally justify promoting this plan aa a good thing.
