Paris became really shit. In the 80/90´s I was going once a month from Geneva. For nice weekend. Now, you pay me, I don’t go anymore….

100% . I was born and raised in Paris, these girls go from line 9 to line 6, sometimes line 1 (basically the lines with most traffic).
Sad that they resort to using young girls (from 13-15 and older) to doing those kinds of stuff…
Best you can do is go warn the metro driver (all the way front of the metro when it’s driven manually like on line 6, and the driver will warn the passengers by broadcasting a message on speakers)

nothing's changed, i visited Paris in 2001 and 1 girl was holding the train door, another stood by my mom with a shawl placed in way that covered her bag, the girl was actually going through my moms bag while we stood near the door holding the railing and it was quite packed, then suddenly a french gentleman sitting opposite where we stood started admonishing the thieves and ponited to my mom wats happening, then in a split second she jumped out while the other girl let go of the door, lucikly nothing was taken, but already managed to open the purse inside the bag, but couldnt take the cash which was even further inside
