This was filmed during the Mock OSCE hence the noise in the background.

As part of their training, they are told to speak up louderand learn to block the noise around them.

This is a 12 minute PreOp Assessment.

Why is this examiner so harsh, there is one way to be strict and another way that just comes down to being rude . Be loud or I’ll fail you . Come on, really? We already are nervous. I feel that getting into educating others, there needs to be a passion to help your students succeed, not to put students under pressure in an already pressurized situation.

Great! Very useful. He spent quite some time with the documentation so I suppose this was a learning experience for both him and the viewers. I hope to see more of these trial runs. Thank you.

Hi Arlene
Do we need to ask for target saturation to determine the scale to use even if the patient has no history of respiratory distress?

Is this in the U.K? I’m preparing for mine in South Africa, just trying to get an idea of how the setting will be .

Why is the lecturer desperate to fail the student even before he started? Simply ask him to speak up, you don’t have to threaten him with failure!!!

many many thanks for sharing this with ma'am. This candidate got a NEWS score of 1 and said the patient is to be monitored one hourly, I think it should be 4 -6 hourly according to the NEWS policy ?? and patiend saturation level is 95 so isn't it mean news score is 1 for saturation and total 2..if you can give and answer it would be great

I’m still finishing my 3rd year in nursing and I aspire to do this. I really want to relocate to the UK and explore Europe. So OSCE is basically a ret dem. I wonder how many stations you have to tackle?

Sister, if the pain score is 2/10, do we still put it as an actual problem? Thank you for your videos, they are very helpful
