5 Thing I HATE About My Manual Transmission Toyota Supra!

Here are 5 things I hate about my 2023 Toyota Supra! What could I possible hate about my brand new manual transmission Toyota Supra? This is my second Supra that I've bought. So could I really hate these cars?

I will say the lack of a trunk mounted release button is annoying. If you pop the trunk from inside and then close the door, the air pressure pops the trunk up and then it falls back down and latches closed! Then you have walk back into the car or dig for your key to pop it open. BMW Z4 has a button on the bumper as does most cars. Supra needs ones so you can leave the smart key in your pocket where it belongs! ;)

And because it’s a manual there is even less of a chance of it getting stolen

Dude I was looking for a 6 speed 340i but they are super rare so I almost got a Supra. Eventually though I found one that had 33k miles, though I kinda wish I went and got the Supra. B58 was the best possible route to take for that beautiful car.

Lol .. the damn trunk !!! I’ve taught myself to gently shut my car door when I hit trunk release from inside car .. but sometimes you forget

Let's not forget that despite having stick shift, you still have an electronic parking brake. Wish they'd add a manual or hydraulic one considering how successful it is in Formula Drift

I used to hate how these looked in pictures, then I saw one in person.
Can safely say font hate it as much anymore.

Glad youre enjoying the car, i had a 2018 340i with mhd stage 2 93 octane and vrsf catted downpipe and awe touring exhaust on it. Never dyno'd but suspesting it made between 440-470 horsepower. Still regret getting selling it to this day

Yaas bro the trunk! Supposedly you can adjust the little feet to pop it out more but it still didn't help. Plus there's nowhere good to grab it.

Just wish it had just that manual handbrake i feel like it's all that is misses to be a peak car imo it's already great but it would have awesome status

I'm currently considering bidding on a 1994 Mercury Topaz. It's got a manual and nobody really wants a Ford Tempo so it probably will not get stolen.

Only thing that sucks about the 6MT A90/A91 is they cant be tuned (yet).

The trunk release is annoying. Hope they can fix it because that’s just ridiculous. 80k and you have to deal with that. Well, it’s certainly no Lexus.
