I just recently ordered Judy Heumann's memoir after watching Crip Camp on Netflix!!! You should really watch it if you can. It provides a good early glimpse of disability activism and how the intersectionality amongst the disabled community was such a strength when they needed all the support they could get during a particularly important and grueling protest (sit-in/hunger strike, even!).

I'd say that the disability community has a great activist in Leah Lakshmi Piepzna -Samarasinha and her book Care Work. She also has a graphic novel called Dirty River.
