Constitutional carry is cool, but LTC is still 💯% the better way to go. Gives you more rights and peace of mind because of the legal protections built in. Not to mention, the "fast pass" at gun shops. Makes me feel like a VIP. 😎
Great video. 👍🏽👍🏽

You can bet a lot of businesses are going to be posting 30.05 signage. As you mentioned, HEB and other major grocery store chains have already posted LTC carry only. As you commented to me, there is much more to carry than having a LTC. Eventhough you don't need a license to fly a drone, I opted to take the FAA Part 107 Certified Drone Pilot exam. However, eventough having a license demonstrates basic aeronautical knowledge, it doesn't make you a proficient pilot. The same holds true for a LTC. There will be future changes in the laws and regular defensive training is a must. I like the idea of offering quarterly or semi-annual "refresher" courses covering the legal aspects of LTC in addition to continued defensive shooting proficiency techniques and practice. I'm also finding the "best" way to carry for your particular circumstances a subject in itself. Yes, I live in West Houston.

I have a permit that I was fixing to renew. I don't see any reason to renew the license. I don't travel out of State much and neighboring States are also permit-less. I don't need to carry in an amusement park or nursing home for any reason. Buying a gun usually takes about 5-10min to get checked out. Nobody is checking you in a store with a sign up unless you open carry. It's legal in home and a vehicle. Now legal to open or conceal out walking around. Permit-less carry makes sense for me.

Eventhough “Constitutional Carry” was implemented Sept1, I finally decided to get my LTC. I took the classroom course online on a weekend, found an instructor to do my proficiency testing that week. I had to wait 10 days for a fingerprint appointment since everything is now done electronically (IDentoGO.) I’m down to print pending this week. The reason? I was just going to take the permitless carry course and the LTC was just $10 more. In addition to knowing the laws, conflict de-escalation techniques, and safe storage, I now have extra privileges and can be covered by my general liability insurance in case of a civil suit. Also, you never know when we might get a less pro-Second Amendment legislature that could start passing onerous restrictions on permitless carry individuals.

411 sign vs 30.5 and concealed carry at Walmart without a LTC...if they don't have a 30.5 is it still illegal to carry.
Have looked everywhere and cannot find a good answer.
Any information would be appreciated.
