It must be so frustrating to be a republican in California or a democrat in Texas, your vote just doesn't count because it's not the same as your state's majority and even if you vote with your state's majority it doesn't count as much as the vote of someone in a smaller state.

I'm so glad our electoral college system means people like me that live in one of the 43 other states don't get a say in who's president.

You should all still vote, though - the rest of your ballot matters a lot.

The complaint about removing the electoral college is stupid. Small states 'not getting a say' is better than 'most people' not getting a say. the majority of Americans should decide the vote, not a couple locations.

Im so ready to switch to popular votes. I kind of just accepted it as something that we just have here until I realized the states can decide to not participate and I thought about why we think rural Americans deserve more of a say than urban/coastal America... But everyone is equal, right?
