New poll shows swing in key battleground states

The Harris campaign is touting its crowd sizes at rallies as a new poll shows a change in the race’s momentum in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. But the campaign is also facing questions connected to Governor Tim Walz’s service in the National Guard. NBC News’ Aaron Gilchrist reports.

The ONLY valid criticism made of Walz's military career thus far is that he apparently misspoke in one speech about using weapons of war "in war." He was never actually IN war. Though one could say the same thing about Vance. He was in Iraq, but he was a rear-echelon press agent.

This is just another desperate attempt by the Trump campaign to find ANYTHING to stop the Harris campaign's momentum. Swing state polling averages (I don't rely on single polls) show her now leading in Michigan and Wisconsin, less than a point behind in Georgia and Pennsylvania and steadily eroding Trump's biggest lead, in Arizona, from nearly +6.0 to +1.5.

ANYONE who has been in the military knows you can retire at 20 years. Walz could have retired 4 years SOONER than he did. Walz did not drop out, he difference.

Polls are numbers that can be manipulated to prove or disprove any narrative depending on how you spin them. The only numbers that should concern anyone is 270, and who gets there first.

I’m a retired veteran and there is nothing worse than a veteran trashing the service of another honorably discharged veteran. Especially to elect someone who lied to get out of Vietnam and had no respect for the military.

My older brother worn the military uniform of this great country for 24 years just like Governor Walz, and they both deserve our full gratitude and respect for their services.

Wow bad journalism to not look into the facts on Walz's retirement. In the military you get to retire after 20 years, Walz stayed on an extra 4 because of 9/11 and he submitted his papers months before his unit got notice of deployment. By that time he was already running for congress.
