Ohio and Iowa have turned red. Virginia and Colorado have turned Blue. Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania are going from blue to purple. Arizona, Georgia, and Texas are trending from red to purple (Texas is more slowly). Florida is still Florida

It honestly depends on where you live in Ohio. I live in Columbus, and its a blue dot in a red sea. The dense cities usually vote blue.

Ohio voted for a Democratic Senator and a Republican governor. How is that not an example of a swing state??

YOU NOTICE THEY DON'T EVEN SHOW SATA ABOUT THE AFRICAN-AMERICAN VOTE. THIS UPSETS ME BECAUSE SO MANY USE THIS AS AN EXCUSE NOT TO VOTE. START ACKNOWLEDGING THE AFRICAN-AMERICAN VOTE!!

How is flipping 40 seats not a blue wave? And while Colorado is not a swing state, Ohio still is

If Beto decides to run again and Texas will turn a swing

Ohio is purple and will likely continue to be purple. It's not a red state. Not so sure that applies to Colorado, though. I can't see Republicans winning Colorado, but I can definitely see Democrats flipping Ohio back.

I'm an outsider to united states but with consideration of the fact that my country of residence Australia .the courtly which I love so much, is an ally of united states. this makes me really worried of trump reelection, if reelected he would rot the historical achievements of united state. he is a tyrant in wrong land but he can make it right for himself . he can make it by dividing the nation by making the judicial system biased and by destroying other democratic values, so I hope Americans see the grate danger of trump's reelection .I hope all Americans even if don't see a grate deal in Biden's administration get out and vote for a change.

I am Glad my home state of Ohio is turning into a Red State. I think Pennsylvania will be the New Ohio, Arizona will be the New Colorado, Minnesota will be the New Iowa, & Georgia will be the New Florida.

He was right about Georgia and Arizona going blue, but wrong about Minnesota going red

Ohio by yesterday as several other states shifted left. Ohio moved .18 to the right since 2016. I think it's safe to say Ohio is done as a swing state

Shouldn't the reporting be on which ideas are most likely to be major issues for swing voters rather than which states are the most important for campaigning in? I don't see how this is important reporting.

Ohio can be won with the right kind of candidate, just look at what Sherrod Brown did.

If Sherrod Brown is the Democrat nominee, he’ll win Ohio and the rust belt easily = 46th President

Hi, Im from the future in 2020. The battleground swing states in 2020 would be a lot more than what it shows here. They are Arizona and Georgia (as predicted) but also Ohio, Iowa, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, North Carolina, and (surprise) Texas.

And Michigan and Florida are not really swing states, as of August 2020, they are likely Democratic State. Of course we can forget about Virginia and Colorado which had been shifted away from GOP for several years now.

It probably doesn't make a difference but I'm a Republican and I actually agree with him this time

Ohio is bright red with the exception of Cuyahoga county and the Columbus area.
