Watching this in 2021 when Dart is used in Flutter, i would say this is just AMAZING.
Dart will kill JS very fast, as Flutter is killing RN now.

Dart is a kind of bridge language. It has super possibility to take over future of java language. Only risk is that it is not a standard like javascript. The future language should cover not only native app. but also web app. with same programming environment I think.

I think that the presentation could be a little more energetic, nevertheless the dart language seems like a fantastic solution (especially if you had to work with legacy javascript code)
