How to Use Art Resin

I love using Art Resin to give my paintings a smooth glassy finish. The process is not hard, but you must follow precise instructions if you want the resin to dry smooth and consistently.

Step 1: Pour (exactly) equal parts resin and hardener into a mixing container
Step 2: Mix resin and hardener using a drill and mixer attachment
Step 3: Pour resin on artwork
Step 4: Spread resin evenly across artwork using a serrated resin spreader
Step 5: Use a propane blowtorch to pop all the tiny bubbled in the resin
Step 6: Let sit for 72 hours
