If i want to use resin on an acrylic painting on a canvas, would the resin ruin the artwork? How should I prepare the canvas on front which has acrylic painting?

I have a 36 × 48 with acrylic painting and another one with molding paste. I would like to know if i can use resin on both and if i need to do the front and back as you are presenting in the video?? Would appreciate your advice.

Did you have to wait until the resin dries before putting the cardboard on the back?
If yes, what kind of glue did you use to keep the cardboard stay still?

Hey my canvases are usually primed, (withing size 10 inches) do i have to pour the resin on back for that too?
